How We Help
Who is a Carer?
If you are looking after a relative or friend, of any age, who either has a disability or illness, (whether this is physical or mental) or who is frail and elderly and if that person cannot manage without your help, you may not realise that you are also their carer.
Being a carer may entitle you to certain legal rights, financial benefits and local government or voluntary agency services including support from The Fed.
If wish to know more about our carers' support services please contact our Referral and Advice Officer, who is available every weekday morning from 9.30 a.m. - 12.30.p.m. on either 0161 795 0024 for North Manchester or 0161 941 4442 for South Manchester
