Bereavement Support

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is very hard. The Fed's programme of support aims to alleviate anxieties and offer practical and emotional help which includes:

First Step

One-to-One volunteer befriending.

Next Step

A social group for people who are bereaved that meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

Moving On

A practical support group helping people to cope with the feelings of loss, loneliness and isolation.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Group

This is a support and social group for people with hearing difficulties. It meets a number of times a year and members enjoy activities as well as organised trips to places of interest. A British Sign Language signer is present to assist with communication.
