- Do You Need Extra Help?
Can one of our volunteers help you? They provide support in a variety ways, such as helping with the weekly shop, befriending and visiting elderly and isolated people or sitting with someone who cannot be left on their own, so that their carer gets a much needed break.- Further Information
- Could You be a volunteer?
It simply would not be possible to provide all our services to around 3000 people every year without the amazing contribution of our wonderful volunteers. They are young and old (ranging in age from 16 to 86) come from every walk of life, and every section of the community. They are a highly valued asset.- Further Information
- Young Volunteers
The Fed is particularly proud of our association with local schools and universities from which we recruit some 130 sixth form pupils and students every year who give up their free time to help others. They are a shining example to the community. - Further Information
- Volunteers giving carers respite
